Control and measurement system

A building was realised as a segmental construction for a public utility provider in Central Bavaria in 2004.

The scope of services included the turnkey realisation of the building, consisting of planning, foundation construction, shell structure and fitting, saddle roof and the production and delivery of doors and ventilation elements.

Technical aspects of the order were rounded off by the delivery and installation of a crane system in the measurement and control room.

The building design conformed to the specifications in the local building development plan.

The measurement and transfer station illustrated is one of three plants of the public utility provider which supplies natural gas to the supply area.

The pressure for the different local gas pipeline systems is reduced to 20 mbar in the downstream control plants.

The building has basic dimensions of L x W = 18.7 m x 10.94 m and a height of 3.46 m plus the saddle roof.

Room layout is subdivided into the measurement and control room (approx. 100 m²), heating and electrical room (approx. 35 m² each) and various ancillary rooms (e.g. odour elimination room and WC).
